Directora y asistente de dirección. Carina estudió Diseño Industrial en UNCuyo y Cine en la Escuela Regional De Cine y Video de Cuyo (ERCCyV). También cuenta con una Maestría en Periodismo Documental cursada en la UNTreF, y es parte de grupos de investigación de la misma además de conformar la Red de estudios de género. Durante los ́90 formó parte del grupo de Artes Visuales “Minas de Arte”. Al mismo tiempo fue comenzando su trabajo en cine participando de la realización de numerosas publicidades y de más de 40 largometrajes y series nacionales y extranjeras. Su primer documental “Madam Baterflai” en 2013, participó de Festivales de Cine y ganó numerosos premios y menciones especiales. “Con nombre de flor” estrenada en 2020 y “La Paloma” (en desarrollo), conforman una trilogía documental de temática Trans.
